Chateau Saint Martin de la Garrigue, another one famous winery from Languedoc
Today our guest is a new member of the “Yellow Road” from Languedoc ... Just below is a quote from the estate site ... The property has 160 hectares of land: vineyards, olive groves, pine forests and harrigues. The word "harriga" until recently was unfamiliar to me ... But, probably, its role is so great that it is also present in the name of the winery. A harriga, it turns out - just thickets of shrubs and fragrant herbs ...

Special guests: Il Fontanaro in Umbria...
"I am reluctant to write this review because in all honesty, I don't want to share the charm, solitude and magnificent vistas of this place that my wife and I have come to adore and thirst for. Call me selfish. The experience that is Il Fontanaro is, and will always be, at the top of our list and we've been all over Italy. From Lake Como to Sicily this place is without peer. The warmth of the property and surrounding village, the hospitality of our hosts/Owners Alina and Lucia Pinelli, and the relaxed pace of living are everything that you could wish for. This is our second trip here having experienced the cooking class on a day trip from Rome first prompting our desire to return for an extended stay, and what a stay it was. Suffice it to say that we can't get back here fast enough. To borrow a line from a Bradley Cooper movie..."Don't ever change, for anybody"

MorisFarms /MORISFARMS S.R.L. SOCIETA AGRICOLA/, Tuscany...
If the map of Italy is now on the table in front of you, then it will not be difficult for you to find the famous region of Italy - Tuscany. Found? On the map, Tuscany looks like a triangle with a base lying on the shore. Seem to be? And nearby is a large island, the largest island of Tuscany - Elba. For its small size, the Elbe is incredibly diverse, it seems that it consists of many small worlds, separated from each other by only a few meters.

wine MACCHIATELLO, Gargano, Puglia region
For the first time in its young history, the "Yellow Road" encountered unforeseen circumstances. The fact is that on the peninsula of Gargano, the region of Puglia, Italy (for those who have not heard about the peninsula Gargano, we give here a little help) a meeting was held with the winemaker Nello. His small winery makes only red wine. Wine MACCHIATELLO (from Macchiia grapes). The history of its creation is as surprising as the peninsula Gargano itself. Nello searches, looks after, restores ancient varieties of vines, which many years ago grew in this region and already from this "ancient" grapes gets its wine ... Red. Of course, it is impossible to include red wine in the Yellow Road ... But it's also impossible not to talk about such a winery. It remains to be hoped that Nello will come up with something with white grapes ... In the near future.
